Looe sailing Club
During the winter a lot of work has been carried out to improve the clubhouse, with redecoration of the lounge and bar area and most recently a complete upgrade of the foyer and stairwell After the winter break the new sailing season commenced on Saturday 12th March. Despite the cold weather boats were prepared for the big day.
If the numbers who turned up for the registration evening at the end of February were anything to go by numbers in all the fleets should be very good. Once again, Club racing will consist of four fleets – Mirrors, Redwings, Lasers and Enterprise.
In early August, the Club will be hosting the Scorpion National Championships when a fleet of about 60 dinghies are expected for honours. Following that the Redwing fleet will be traveling to the Isles of Scilly for their championships.
